Tax Credits & Tax Savings

Own an energy business that pays you every month. The tax credits come with it.

Most of our clients buy in for the cash flow. The tax savings are the bonus.

Year OneIt Pays for ItselfThe tax credits, the write-off and the first year of income together cover the cost, in current programs.
Every YearIncome After ThatRevenue year after year for the rest of the hold, seven years in current programs.
At the EndSell It BackOur partners buy the equipment back, so you never need to find a buyer.

One Asset. Two Ways It Pays.

Look at it as a business, and it produces income. Look at it as a tax strategy, and it lowers your bill. You get both.

THE BUSINESS Income EVERY MONTH

An energy business you own.

  • Qualifying energy equipment, put to work producing revenue
  • Paid monthly under a service agreement, or power for your own operation
  • A real asset our partners buy back at the end of the hold
  • Professionally operated, so it never becomes a second job
THE BONUS Tax Credits ON THIS YEAR’S RETURN

The tax code rewards owning it.

  • A federal tax credit comes straight off what you owe
  • First-year depreciation lowers the income you are taxed on
  • Unused credit can carry to other tax years
  • A new opportunity every tax year
IN PLAIN TERMS

You are buying a business that makes money, and because it is energy, the tax code rewards you for owning it. In current programs, the tax savings and first-year income cover the cost in year one. Every year after, the income keeps coming. At the end, you sell it back to our partners.

WHY IT MAKES SENSE

Your Money Comes Back First

It is built to return your cost in the first year. Everything after that is upside.

Your Cost Comes Back

In year one, the tax savings and the first year of income cover the cost.

Then It Keeps Earning

Six more years of income, on money that has already come back to you.

Then You Sell It Back

At the end of the hold, our partners buy the equipment back. No buyer to find.

Then You Do It Again

A new tax year brings a new program. Add a unit and start the cycle again.

Want to see this with real program numbers? That is what the call is for.

WE BRING THE PROGRAMS

Qualifying energy equipment, vetted and ready to put to work. Start with one unit and add more; many clients own several. New programs every year.

Built as a Business First

The country needs more power, and equipment that delivers it gets paid. You own it, our partners install, operate and maintain it, and it earns. How it earns is up to you.

LEASE IT

Own It, Get Paid Monthly

An operator puts the equipment to work and pays you under a service agreement. You own the asset, and the income comes to you.

USE IT

Power Your Own Operation

Run the equipment at your own facility for on-site power and backup, and keep what it saves you every month.

FINANCE IT

Put Less Down

Finance part of the purchase and let the equipment’s income work toward the payments. Your CPA reviews the terms.

Choose the Program

Select the equipment, the number of units and how you want to own it.

Place It in Service

The equipment is installed and running. That starts the income and sets the tax year.

Collect the Income

Revenue or savings arrive month after month, for as long as you own it.

Add, Then Sell It Back

Add more units along the way, and sell each one back to our partners at the end of the hold.

Then Comes the Tax Bonus

The same purchase brings two federal tax benefits, both on the return for the year the equipment goes into service.

THE TAX CREDIT $1 = $1 OFF YOUR TAX BILL

A gift card for your tax bill.

  • Owe $100,000. Hold a $40,000 credit. Now you owe $60,000.
  • A percentage of the equipment cost, set by federal law
  • Unused credit can reach back for tax already paid, roll forward, or be sold
DEPRECIATION Year One FULL WRITE-OFF

A coupon on your income.

  • Lowers the income your tax is figured on
  • Qualifying equipment written off in the first year
  • First-year bonus depreciation is now permanent law
“

Congress wrote these incentives into the tax code on purpose.

The country needs more power. The law rewards the people who own the equipment that delivers it. Most people who qualify are simply never shown how.

Your CPA can review every number before anything moves.

What clients tell us most: I wish I had found you sooner.

IN THEIR WORDS, NOT OURS

When I went to sell my company, the biggest roadblock was depreciation recapture and taxes in general. I met with four different CPAs and all were meaningless. Then one meeting with this team and the problems were solved. My only regret is that I did not engage them sooner.

Business Owner · Sold Company and Reinvested

Too good to be true? Yes. I waited over a year to sign up, and when I did, the first thing they did was put $134K in my pocket. My old CPA was a nice CPA, but I had outgrown someone just putting the right numbers in the right box. It is my single biggest return on investment in my business.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a business or a tax strategy?

Both. You own equipment that produces income every month, and because it is qualifying energy equipment, it also brings a federal tax credit and a first-year write-off. Most of our clients buy in for the income. The tax savings are the bonus.

Is owning it a lot of work?

No. It is not a second job. Our partners handle the installation, operations and maintenance. Your part is the ownership decisions. To use the tax benefits against your other income, the IRS requires you to take part in the business, and your CPA will confirm what that means for you.

How does the equipment make money?

An operator can put it to work and pay you under a service agreement, or you can use the power at your own facility and keep the savings. We walk through the options for each program on our call.

Can I own more than one unit?

Yes. Many clients start with one and add more. Each unit is another income stream and brings its own tax benefits for the year it goes into service.

What is the difference between a tax credit and a deduction?

A credit comes straight off your tax bill, dollar for dollar. A deduction lowers the income your tax is figured on, so it saves you your tax rate times the deduction. This strategy gives you both from the same purchase.

What kind of equipment qualifies?

Energy equipment covered by the federal clean energy investment credit, such as battery energy storage systems. We focus on programs where the equipment is in demand and has a clear way to earn.

Can I use this to cover the tax on a Roth conversion?

Converting a traditional IRA or 401(k) to a Roth adds income in the year you convert. Credits and depreciation from equipment you own can help offset the tax on that income. Your CPA confirms the amounts and timing.

Can my IRA buy the equipment and get the credit?

No. An IRA does not pay tax, so it cannot use a credit or a write-off. The equipment is owned by you or your business. Your retirement account can hold other investments.

What if the tax benefits are bigger than my tax bill this year?

Nothing is wasted. Unused credit can be carried back to recover tax you already paid in prior years, or carried forward to future years. It can also be sold to another taxpayer for cash. If the first-year write-off is larger than your income, the extra generally carries forward to future years. Annual limits apply, and your CPA confirms how it all works on your return.

How long do I keep the equipment?

At least 5 years. During that time it produces income, and at the end of the hold our partners buy it back.

Does my CPA need to be involved?

Yes, and we want them to be. We work alongside your CPA, attorney or tax strategist. They confirm how the benefits fit your return before you commit.

How are you paid?

Our cost is built into the program and disclosed up front. You see every number before anything happens.

Is this an investment offer?

No. This page is educational. Any specific program or investment is offered only through its own documents, which you review with your advisors.

More Ways We Help You Keep More

Beyond your personal taxes, we help businesses cut payroll taxes, and help you put what you save to work.

Your Tax Bill Comes Every Year. So Does This.

The equipment has to be in service by the end of the year to count for that year. The sooner you start, the more of this year you can still use.
